Surrey's baseball community since 1992.

We've been building community around baseball in Guildford for over three decades, and we built our own diamond at Kings College. Whether you've never held a bat or you've played for years, you're welcome here.

The Mavericks play in the British Baseball Federation's Division 3 South and the Millers in Division 5, and the junior programme runs every Saturday morning for ages 4 to 14.

Two small teams became the Guildford Mavericks. The first game was that April at Waltham Abbey: a loss, in the rain.

Come and try it out! Your first Thursday evening session is free, with no kit or experience needed, and we'll coach you from the basics. Rookie membership is £125 when you're ready to join.

Come and try out on a Thursday evening. Adult membership (£200) gets you training and a place in one of our adult teams: the Mavericks in BBF Division 3 South or the Millers in Division 5.

Saturday mornings at Kings College: junior baseball for ages 8 to 14 and Teeball for 4 to 7. The first two sessions are free and no kit is needed.

Adult training: Thursdays, 6:30 to 8:30pm, May to August, with pre-season from January. League games: Sundays, April to August.

Kings College, Guildford

We built our own diamond.

A full-size diamond at Kings College: base paths 90 feet apart, a pitcher's mound 60 feet 6 inches from home plate, and a 7-metre backstop 45 feet behind home. The club raised the money and did the dirt work itself, and the ground opened for the 2023 season.

Junior programme

Saturday morning baseball for kids in Guildford.

Boys and girls aged 4 to 14: junior baseball for 8 to 14 and Teeball for 4 to 7, coached by experienced club members every Saturday morning at Kings College.

No experience or kit needed. Your child's first two sessions are free, and the £100 season fee includes a club cap and t-shirt.
