2020 Season Results
The BBF reorganised the 2020 season to run for approximately 5 weeks from August through early September following lockdown restrictions. All games were scheduled as doubleheaders to maximise playing time. The club fielded two teams, Mavericks (AA) and Millers (Single-A), due to uncertainty about player availability.
The primary objective was simply "just to get everyone playing again" after extended disruption. By that measure, the season was a complete success.
Standout fact: 10 different ex-Junior programme players appeared for the Millers throughout the season, with a further 5 former juniors playing for the Mavericks. A testament to the club's pipeline.
Record: 5–5, splitting every doubleheader perfectly (one win, one loss in each DH). Squad size of nearly 30 players.
